Add staff & assign permissions

As your store grows, you'll want help. Saleporia's staff system lets you invite teammates with roles and permissions scoped to their job.

Prerequisites

Staff seats depend on your plan: Starter (0), Growth (5), Advanced (15), Enterprise (unlimited). Check your usage on the staff page before inviting.

1. Open Staff settings

Go to Settings → Staff (owner-only). You'll see active staff, pending invitations, and your plan's seat usage (limit, used, remaining).

2. Invite a teammate

   Click Invite

   Enter your teammate's email address.

   Choose a role

   Pick ADMIN (full access), MANAGER, or STAFF (both configurable).

   Set permissions

   For MANAGER/STAFF, toggle the specific permissions they need — orders, products, customers, analytics, marketing, discounts, storefront.

   Send

   An invitation email is sent with a link. It expires in 7 days.

3. They accept

Your teammate clicks the link in the email and accepts. Their email must match the one you invited. Once accepted, they appear in the active staff list and can log in. Your shop also appears in their shop switcher.

4. Manage over time

• Update a staff member's role or permissions anytime with PATCH
• Remove a staff member when they leave — access is revoked immediately
• Resend a pending invitation if it expired
• Cancel a pending invitation you no longer need
